About us

IEHPs-CAN is a program by PEGASUS Institute in partnership with the Canadian Medical Foundation (CMF).

The IEHPs-CAN platform provides support and resources to Internationally Educated Healthcare Professionals (IEHPs) on their journey to meaningful careers in Canada’s health sector.

Our Vision

A future where IEHPs are seamlessly integrated into a diverse, inclusive Canadian healthcare system.

Our Mission

To enhance knowledge and accessibility for IEHPs in Canada to integrate into the Canadian healthcare system, leveraging their expertise to improve community health and well-being.

IEHPs-CAN was started by a group of healthcare professionals who know how hard it can be to build a career in Canada. We come from different cultures, speak different languages, and have different backgrounds, but we all share the same goal: helping Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs) succeed in Canada.

Our platform is more than just a place to find information—it’s a community that welcomes everyone and values diversity. Whether you are a new immigrant, a refugee health professional, or anyone trying to understand the Canadian healthcare system, IEHP Canada is here to give you the support, advice, and connections you need to succeed.

IEHPs-CAN is your first stop source for valuable resources, inspiring success stories, and a network that supports your unique journey. From understanding the licensing process for doctors, nurses, and other health professionals to finding alternative career paths, we are here to help you every step of the way.
