Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada is the national online platform used by NAPRA to support internationally educated pharmacists (IEPs) pursuing licensure in Canada. Creating a Gateway profile is a required first step in the pharmacy licensure process.

What Is Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada?

Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada is a centralized system that:

  • Provides a national roadmap for pharmacy licensure in Canada

  • Connects candidates with key organizations involved in licensure

  • Stores and shares documents securely with authorized regulators

The platform is administered by NAPRA and used by:

  • Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (PRAs)

  • Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC)

  • NAPRA administrators

Your Gateway profile serves as a central hub for your licensure journey.

  • National ID (NAPRA ID):
    Required for PEBC applications, including Document Evaluation

  • Document Repository:

How to Enroll in Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada?

1. Create an Account

  • Register online and create your personal profile

  • You will receive a NAPRA ID number

 

2. Pay the Enrolment Fee

  • Pay the one-time Gateway enrollment fee

  • Your profile becomes active once payment is confirmed
